Coimbatore is a city in the Tamil Nadu state of India
The Marudhamalai hill temple is situated at a height of 500 feet in the Western Ghats' highlands. The temple is 15 kilometres north-west of Coimbatore city and has a very energising environment. Vehicles are permitted to travel past the Marudhamalai temple, and the devasthanam has granted three buses access to the shrine from the lower slope of the hill.
The Siruvani Waterfalls and the dam named after them are located in the Western Ghats, 36 kilometres west of Coimbatore. The Kerala government built the Siruvani reservoir for Tamil Nadu with monies raised by the Tamil Nadu government to meet Coimbatore's drinking water needs.
